I'm listening to his show tonight. After he plays David Bowie covering "Let's Spend the Night Together" he comes on and says
David Bowie did some of the greatest rock covers, and...
trailing off he adds
...he also covered The Pixies and Morrissey. I've never heard The Pixies, but they don't do a thing for me
Never heard them, then ... nevermind. Just suck it.

He never heard them...at all?? Maybe he meant he'd never heard them LIVE or something. Distressing.
I think he meant he'd NEVER heard them. And yet they don't do a thing for him. Lovely.
