Here is a photo of the Wall of Fame at the Taste of Philly store in Lakewood. This store is one of the 3 Taste of Philly stores that offer the Apollo Cheesesteak Challenge. There are just 2 people: Jimmy Mares, 10:42 and Austin Trujillo, 53 minutes. How does someone take 53 minutes? When I completed the challenge at the Colorado Blvd location a couple of weeks ago in 21:06, the 18oz of cheese congealed so much at the 15 minute mark that it was pretty tough to get down. 53 minutes? The cheese would be a solidified mass of whatever.
